Larry FloodVOLNEY – Larry T. Flood, 80, of Volney, NY, passed away unexpectedly at St. Joseph’s Hospital with his family by his side. He was born in Fulton, a son to the late Timothy and Betty (Martin) Flood.

Larry was a Working Foreman at Huhtamaki for the past 44 years. He was a big NY Yankees fan, loved his tractors, enjoyed camping, taking family vacations and spending time with his family.

Larry was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Leo Heaphy. Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Sharon (Wardhaugh) Flood; three children, Michelle (John) Izyk, Amy (Chris Schifferli) Fisk, and Shawn (Valerie) Flood; seven grandchildren, Natalie, Victoria, Alina, Hailey, Ian, Madison, and Izabel; and one great-grandchild, Iris; two sisters, Karen Heaphy and Sandy (Rick) Bomgren; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at Pennellville United Methodist Church, 389 County Route 54, Pennellville, NY 13132, with the Rev. Jeffrey Hodge officiating. A private burial will be at Mt. Adnah Cemetery, Fulton.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made, in Larry’s memory, to the Pennellville United Methodist Church or a charity of your choice. Foster Funeral Home has care of arrangements.
